		<description>I would not recommend doing this with a house that you are only renting.  When you move, the unit stays.  Central air can be a bit of an expense, and yes, a new unit will need to be installed.</description>

I would just get a window unit of about 1 ton (12,000 BTU) capacity.  That can be run off one 20 amp 120V circuit.</description>
