Question To Previous About Cooling And Heating Blanket?

I asked about an electric cooling and heating blanket. Did you know there are some made that use water to transmit the cooling or heating. There is a pump to circulate the water from the cooling and heating devices? I haven’t yet found a price, but I’m sure they would be expensive. They are used in the medical field for heat related maladys and for heating after hypothermia. Anybody know how to purchase one and the price?

wash your outside unit (condenser) from the inside out with garden hose, if you just spray the outside coils it just drives the dirt and debris in, clean the inside A coil with a spray that is available at most home centers, keep the condensate line clean by adding a ounce or 2 of bleach and change you filters often, actually a electro static filter is the way to go

What Do You Think About Heat Pumps? Do They Cool As Good As Other Central Air Conditioning?

I am looking to buy a house and I have noticed that some are listed as having a heat pump for air and heat. I had never heard of a heat pump before but I have done some research on them now. I am wondering if anyone that has a heat pump would tell me some pros and cons about using them for cooling and heating.

Our home has been recently flooded out … we lost our whole heating system and all ducts. A heating contractor that we would like to go with just installs “Bryant” systems.
We had a Carrier for yrs and never had a problem with it (it even went through a complete flood in 06 and started right back up)

Does Anyone Know Anything About Allergies To Air Conditioning?

My GP’s just prescribed a steroid inhaler because my airway is inflamed and I am coughing constantly. He thinks it is due to an environmental allergen. I’m a Newly Qualified Teacher and the classroom I was given in Sept has an air conditioning / warm air heating unit. My problems with sore throat and constant coughing started in October and is now so persistent that I cannot speak without coughing (not useful in teaching). I’m taking the inhaler and the swelling in my throat is easing, but not the cough. What can I do to stop coughing? Do I have to rethink my place of work? Any advice would be welcome.
